Descriptions:
Vibration absorbers are designed for installation in the suction and discharge lines of Air conditioning and Refrigeration system to dampen the transmission of compressor—induced vibration through system piping.
Each Vibration absorber is pressure tested then carefully vacuum tested using a highly sensitive helium mass spectrometer leak detection device. Units are cleaned. dehydrated, sealed in plastic wrap and individually boxed after final inspection to maintain cleanliness and dryness prior to installation.
Vibration absorbers are compatible with all kinds of refrigerants and their lubricants.
Features:

Anchor the refrigerant piping, as shown above, at the end of the unit furthest from the vibration source. Also, install the unit horizontally, as shown in Figure 1, wherever possible. Allow sufficient space for the unit so that it will not be subject to static compression or tension after brazing it into place. Units should be installed in a straight line; they are not intended to compensate for offset piping. If the unit is installed in an area where condensate can accumulate on it, cover the unit with a waterproof barrier(such as heat shrinkable PVC tubing or rubber tape) to prevent moisture from freezing under the braid and ferrules, causing the unit to rupture. Although the copper tube ends of the unit are attached by high temperature brazing alloys, care should nevertheless be exercised when making the sweat connections. For situations of severe vibration, install two units in series at right angles to one another as shown in Figure 2.
